What About Bob?
Bob got his start doing play-by-play in the family driveway as a kid. That led to a career as a television sports broadcaster and public address announcer to now being a freelance professional voice actor. He’s got that booming baritone voice when it needs to be booming, yet he can tone it down for those softer, deeper reads. One of Bob’s biggest strengths is delivering exactly what the customer needs.
Among his specialties are E-learning and explainer projects, corporate marketing and training programs, PSA’s, on-hold messaging, radio station imaging packages, and commercial work including real estate and automotive. Need a character voice? Give him a shot (he still does an awesome Bullwinkle impersonation and more). Of course, you’ll still hear his voice on radio doing play-by-play or in stadiums and arenas as a public address announcer.
Bob is a lifelong Midwesterner, well except for those few years in Seattle which might explain his affection for craft beer and seafood. His studio is fairly simple; good acoustics, a Sennheiser 815 microphone, Audacity for editing, and Source Connect for remote audio recording.
